Very caring, helpful staff. Very concerned about righting mistakes, which they did. Old Town Traverse City a short drive away. The Queen double room in the back was roomy and relaxing.
Location is on a big commercial strip, and although the hotel is not right on the main drag - it has a long driveway that secludes it - it doesn't take advantage of it's more private location, which would befit resort town travelers and justify the fairly high prices on summer weekends. No inviting outdoor space, very very small indoor pool.
The bed was very comfortable!
Our room was right above the main entrance to the hotel. Needless to say, it was very noisy every time someone came thru the doors. Plus, there was no view, except for the sign in front.
The shower was dirty and so was the cloth part of the curtain
Booked.net did not have a reservation for us at the hotel. Had to wait for manager to ok the stay, glad I printed off the confirmation information and took with me.
The beds were comfortable and overall it was great! Nothing to complain about. We stay at Fairfield Inns wherever we are! Love them. Never a bad experience!
Not bad just very average
All was well - would certainly stay there again
The hot tub was broke. One of the things my wife and I were looking forward too. Also they did not start the breakfast until after 7:00 and that was to late for us so we missed It.
The young ladies (2 different girls on two different days) working the breakfast deserves an award. Some of the travelers staying at the hotel were so rude, but these young ladies didn't let it bring them down. I really think management should consider having 2 people work the breakfast when the hotel is booked as it was. 1 person for 30+ people eating at free buffet is a bit overwhelmingly.
The elevator was very slow.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly. While checking in, we made general conversation on how we were celebrating our anniversary. When returned to the room from dinner, there was a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us with a very nice card. CLASSY! I'll stay there again!
price, amenities, location
mattress was soft
The Beds were extremely comfy, check-in was easy, I asked for an early check-in and they were able to accommodate that. The breakfast was AMAZING!!!
The room smelled like someone just smoked in it which is frustrating for us non-smoking people. The other room we had also smelled weird...
Parked in the handicapped area (to the right) and the walk to the front of the hotel was somewhat unsafe as the grade up to the sidewalk was unmarked and was a fall hazard.
The hot tub was not functioning thr weekend we were there
The bed was soooo comfortable- made sleeping the night before a big interview easy!! Breakfast looked fantastic but couldn't partake due time restrictions...
For our one night stay, can't think of a thing we didn't like...made the whole, quick Traverse City experience all the better!!!
